Champions of JOTA-JOTI 2006

At last.... for so many years... 18GTN had won the JOTA trophy! While this is already our 6th time winning the JOTI trophy.... the scouts all worked very hard for a whole straight week.. from even class times till 9 at night! The Peng Hua guides were a great help too! In the end.. we bagged a whole lot of trophies! The Pictures will be updated shortly...

MBS Cooking Competition - 20 August 2006
3 Patrols, Camillion, Camelot and Avalon, was sent to the competition as competitors for 18GT(n).
Each patrol has the total of 10 patrol members-5 girls, 5 boys. They have trained for countless weeks preparing for D-Day(MBS). All the 3 patrols worked very hard and in the end, Patrol Camillion came back with the Overall Trophy and the Best Food trophy. Patrol Camelot came back with the Best Presentation trophy. Sadly to say, patrol Avalon came back with nothing. Better luck next year guys :). Here are the pictures :-

St.Xavier's Instituition Gathering and Campfire 2006 - 24th June 2006
The scouts of 18GT(N) worked hard from early peaks of dust till later on into the night for 2 weeks. At the end, all of that was worth while because we bagged a whole lot of trophies including the Overall Trophy! The trophie

Congratulations to all those who tried all their best and went trough. Congratulations too to our scout master who brought back the best Imitator Trophy for 18GT(N)!!! Thank you fellow scouts for contributing in bringing back all the trophies! Below are the snapshots

JOTA JOTI 2006

JOTA-JOTI is an annual event in which about 500,000 Scouts and Guides all over the world make contact with each other by means of amateur radio. It is a real Jamboree during which Scouting experiences are exchanged and ideas are shared, thus contributing to the world brotherhood of Scouting The JOTA is a world-wide event.
JOTA-JOTI is now in season! On the 21st and 22nd October 2006, the biggest scouting event,JOTA-JOTI will commence. 18GTN(Sekolah Sri Pinang's Scouts), as one of the major troops in Penang, Malaysia, is participating to this event on this Saturday(21st October 2006). Combining with Penang Chinese Girls High School's Guides as well. For more information visit our website here.
